As I mentioned, Duncan and Rachel are good friends and I was so honoured when they asked me to cover their day. Shooting friends' weddings is always a bit of a cach-22 of sorts. On the one hand it's awesome to have a client who you know so well and who's so comfortable with you - this always brings out my best work. On the other hand, shooting a good friend's wedding means there's less of a chance for you to put your dancing shoes on and go crazy! Hahahaha! Having said that, I would not have changed anything for this shoot (well, perhaps the thunder showers we had!).
The beautiful day was shared between Kingsbridge and Stoke Flemming in beautiful Devon - I love that place! For anyone who does not know Rachel, she is an organizational genius! This wedding was one of the best planned and executed weddings I have been to and it was an honour to be a part of it!
Duncan and Rachel, congratulations on a year of marriage. You both are beautiful people who I am honoured to have in my life. May there be many more celebrations to come.
