Andrew & Bianca - Love Shoot

I met Bianca and Andrew at the start of this year; they're such a great couple.  They were getting married in Durban, South Africa, but wanted some photos done in London before leaving for their new life together in South Africa.  We went off to Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park earlier this year to get some portraits of the two of them.  They were SO comfortable around the camera which really made life so easy for me.  These two love each other big time and it was such a joy to capture it on camera for them.  They just got married in Durban - All the best Mr & Mrs Bicknell!

The Campbells Walk London

Peter and Vicky are good friends who moved to sunny Australia last year.  The Campbells and I go back a bit; I photographed their wedding in 2008 and then did two family shoots for them since.  Peter gave me a call and mentioned that he would like some family shots of them in London as he realised that they had not actually taken any "family photos" in the city when they used to go on outings.  He said that London had been home for such a while, it would be a shame not to have some photos and so why not have me spend the afternoon with them in the city shooting a mixture of posed and natural shots.  He also mentioned that he would like the images done in black and white.

It was great to spend the day with Peter, Vicky and the girls.  I enjoyed getting to know them as friends before clients and I do miss seeing them.

Lee & Helen - Wedding Bells Will Soon Be Ringing!

These two are great.  I can't wait to shoot this wedding.

Beautiful Birthday Girls!

When visiting my family and friends in South Africa, I had the honour of capturing my best mate’s two beautiful girls’ shared birthday – born on the same day two years apart!  How crazy is that hey!   Chantal did an absolutely amazing job at making their birthday such a beautiful one.  Children’s birthdays are so awesome!  It’s that time when you get to forget about all this crazy adult behaviour and just run around like a crazy sugared up maniac getting drunk on all the laughter and excitement in the air – I LOVE IT!

These two little angels are something special.  And when you have such special kids, you can’t help but look at their parents.  Chantal and JP are GREAT - great friends, great spouses, great parents.  They live and love passionately and this is seen in their children who are just full of love, laughter, life and joy.  After spending a weekend with them, I felt myself left craving after what they had.  Thank you my friends for sharing your life and love with me.
